Adult & Social Dancing

In January 2008, Declan left the Cafe Orchestra and embarked on a solo career which sees him focus on the Adult and Social Dancing side of his career. Audiences can expect to hear more of his usual energetic selection of Country and Irish music with the flair that only Declan's accordion playing can bring.

Declan provides a complete dancing programme of Country and Irish music and song, coupled with Traditional Irish selections. His repertoire includes Quicksteps, Waltzes, Foxtrots, Slow Waltzes, Slosh, Seige of Ennis, Walls of Limerick, Polka Set, Gay Gordons Shoe the Donkey, Stack of Barley, Military Two-Step etc.

Wedding Ceremonies

Declan is available as an Organist, pianist, or even Accordionist for Wedding Ceremonies or other occasions. He works with various singers, male and female, depending on the individual needs of the ceremony. His repertoire includes liturgical, contemporary and classical music and song.

Concerts

In recent years, Declan has become an established concert entertainer on the Accordion Club scene in Ireland. With a programme of Irish/Scottish, Continental, Jazz and light Classical music, he has enthralled audiences up and down the country. His most recent visit to the Premier Accordion Club in Belfast included duets with fellow 5-Row virtuoso Joe Coogan. Declan hopes to work with Joe both at home and abroad in the near future.
